Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)

Scientific Evidence from Clinical Trials

A four week randomized, placebo-controlled, study involving 126 patients
showed that 5% tea tree oil shampoo was more effective than the placebo
in the treatment of mild and moderate dandruff (Satchell et al. 2002).
